A look back at the past 9 months… what a journey it’s been 🍕❤️
It’s hard to believe that just 9 months ago, The Rustic Crust started with a gazebo, a couple of pizza ovens and an idea of seeing where it could go…
Since then, things have moved quicker than I ever could have imagined.
From those first few weeks under the gazebo, we took the leap and moved into our pizza trailer — travelling around North Wales, popping up at different venues, catering private events and serving hundreds of pizzas along the way.
Then came our biggest step yet… finding a permanent home and opening The Rustic Crust in Mochdre. 🍕
What started as a mobile pizza business suddenly had four walls, a proper pizza oven and somewhere we could call our own.
And somehow, we didn’t stop there…
Just a couple of months later, we took on the building next door and opened The Butchers 🍻 — our little bar alongside The Rustic Crust, bringing together pizzas, drinks and hopefully creating somewhere great for the local community.
When you look back, it’s crazy to think how much has happened in just 9 months.
A gazebo. A trailer. A takeaway. And now, a bar.
There have been long days, late nights, plenty of mistakes and a huge amount learnt along the way — but I wouldn’t change the journey.
To everyone who bought a pizza from us when we were standing under a gazebo, visited the trailer, ordered from the takeaway, had a pint at The Butchers, booked us for an event or simply shared and supported what we’ve been doing…
