What a day! The Sugar Shack opening did not disappoint! 🍭 🍦

Our amazing business owner Grace Evans and our Shack manager Scott Pendry led our opening day with the most fantastic efforts, product and delivery - we really hope you guys enjoyed your ice creams, waffles, penny sweets, candy floss and milkshakes!!! 🧇 🍦 🍭

Looking back on what the Shack was just 5 months ago is very humbling. We have completed an immense amount of works to try and give the island a little something that it deserves ☺️☺️☺️. The daily work Involved in preparation, produce selection, menu creation, product consistency is immense, our team are incredibly hard working to ensure that every dish we produce is equally as stunning as the next, we are very very lucky to have such a dedicated group - for our team you know we love you guys ❤️❤️❤️

Of course, catering for over 500 per afternoon is no mean feat, and we can get it wrong 😔. With such a large quantity of amazing customers wishing to order, we do get many many tickets on at one time, and our kitchen can get things wrong - after all we are all humans😃. If your meal comes out in any way shape or form different from your order then please please let us know so we can correct, we guarantee - you won’t find a team of professionals wishing to put it right more then us!

The love that our great island shows to The Shack is amazing, we are doing everything we possibly can to bring the greatest experience possible from the food village @ Brambledown Farm Shop & Animal Feeds

It’s a nice early start for us today and what a beauty of a day it’s going to be 🔥 ☀️

Today is finally the day that WE OPEN THE SUGAR shack 🍭 🍬 our base menu is now here to view, but we have lots of other special treats to keep the kids and adults very happy😋

Excitingly, the car park overflow is now also operational, so we would urge our customers to use this please to ease congestion in the main car park.

We can also confirm, The 💩 shack is ✅ and our toilets are also now open and operational 😀 elegant use of these is encouraged please, and available for use of all customers.

The support from our island family has been amazing, we can’t wait to see you out in force today,

This time, it comes courtesy of our Sea Shack 🌊 🎣 ! For this weekend only, we have gone to the traditional British favourite, Cod and Chips served with a beautiful side of peas. I tried this myself today and it is absolutely sensational!

Pre-orders are available and when it’s gone, it’s gone!

The hopes of the nation rest with our German manager, Mr Thomas Tuchel 😃!

Here at the shack, we will be supporting our nation, and for this weekend we will have our special from the smoke shack 🔥, The Thomas Tuchel Burger! A flame grilled quarter pounder, complete with German bratwurst sausage, filled with relish, onions, cheese, lettuce, tomato, a hint of siracha and toppled with an onion ring!

🚨 ‼️ AMAZING ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️ 🚨

And just like that - another week is done 😮‍💨 and it’s been a hot one for our team 🔥. Unprecedented temperatures 🥵 meant for a very very difficult few days in our kitchens, however our professional and dilligent team rolled up their sleeves and cracked on with service, we hope everyone that came over the weekend had a great time! 😊

Now - this coming week is exciting. As of this Wednesday, we will be open for business in both our Sea Shack and our Smoke Shack from 9am - 4pm and open every Wednesday onwards. 🥳

As of Saturday 4th July, we will be opening our Sugar Shack 🍭 , and this will be open in line with our standard opening hours moving forwards! We have some amazing treats to come and our menu will be posted very soon, however you can expect many ice cream flavours (dairy and gluten- free included) as well as some fantastic doggy ice cream treats. Additionally, you will be finding many other sweet treats including waffles, pancakes, milkshakes and very original sweets to Keep the kiddies entertained whilst experiencing our shacks 👏🏼

FINALLY - the biggest announcement to date 📣 📣 📣 we have now purchased our fourth and final
Shack 😁😁😁. We have listened to many many customers, and this won’t disappoint 😋. We are delighted to welcome you to “The 💩 Shack”. We have received delivery of a twin toilet facility and this will be ready to be used by our fantastic customers this coming weekend.

Please please please keep supporting what we have built for the island, with the amazing assistance of Craig Condon and all Brambledown Farm Shop & Animal Feeds - these guys and their farm shop are just the best! We can’t wait to see the summer roll on ❤️❤️❤️

SELL OUT SUNDAY IS OPEN ✅

Today we opened the doors early to support a poultry auction, hosted by Brambledown Farm. Needless to say our breakfast rolls have been flying out from Maddie on our outside BBQ grill Station. 🥓 🍳 🥖

We now turn our attention to sell out Sunday! We are stocked and ready, but don’t hang about as everything must go 😋

Platters, salads, fresh shellfish, meat feasts - what are you fancying today?
