A little team evening 🤎

Once the café was closed for the day, we swapped coffee machines for a tractor ride 🚜 and headed off for an evening together.

We had some food, got stuck into a few activities and, of course, there was plenty of laughter — especially when we all had a go at making our own pots! 😂

It was so lovely to spend some time together outside of work, away from the usual hustle and bustle of the café, and just enjoy each other’s company.

Every member of our team brings something different to The Coffee Mill. Everyone has their own strengths, personalities and little things that make them who they are, and we really believe that’s what makes our team so special.

We wouldn’t be the café we are without each and every one of them. 🤎

Well… Sunday certainly kept us busy! ☕🫖💙

Firstly, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Cream Tea Afternoon. We were so pleased to see so many familiar and new faces supporting such a great cause.

Thank you to everyone who came along, ordered a takeaway box, donated, or simply helped spread the word. This has helped to support Lou and Paula on their fundraising journey to Everest Base Camp in aid of Kidney Research UK.

To anyone who missed out this time, don’t worry, we’ll definitely be looking to hold more events like this in the future! Thank you again for your incredible support, we couldn’t have done it without you all! 💙

Our Cream Tea Afternoon on Sunday 2nd August (3pm–5pm) is now fully booked for sitting in! 🫖🍰

If you didn’t manage to get a table, we’re pleased to offer Takeaway Cream Tea Boxes for just £7.50 each.

Each box includes:
• Tea
• 2 freshly baked scones
• Jam
• Clotted cream
