There’s something truly special about making wedding cakes.
Behind every finished cake is hours upon hours of planning, baking, filling, stacking, decorating, and often a fair bit of worrying too! Wedding cakes can be stressful — early mornings, late nights, delicate details, transportation nerves, and the pressure of creating something perfect for such an important day.
But despite the stress, the time, and the hard work, there is so much joy in it.
I never take for granted the trust couples place in me to create a centrepiece for one of the most memorable days of their lives. Seeing a design come together from an idea into something beautiful is incredibly rewarding, and knowing it will be part of a celebration filled with love makes it even more meaningful.
Every wedding cake tells a story, and I feel so lucky to have been a small part of so many wonderful couples’ journeys over the years. From elegant and timeless designs to cakes that reflect a couple’s unique personality, each one has been a privilege to create.
To all the lovely couples who have chosen me to make their wedding cake, thank you. Your trust, kindness, and support mean more than you know. While the process can be challenging at times, the happiness that comes from creating something beautiful for your special day makes every moment worthwhile.
I truly feel blessed to do what I love and to have shared in so many unforgettable celebrations. ❤️
