As a small business owner, I know just how much every order means.

The longer I’ve worked in hospitality, the more I’ve realised that the moments people remember are rarely the ones you expect.

They remember the laughter around the table. The conversation that carried on long after dessert. The feeling of being completely looked after without even noticing all the work happening behind the scenes.

Those are the moments that have shaped my career and inspired the way I run Red Pepper Catering.

Writing my first book has given me the opportunity to put those thoughts into words. It isn’t a cookbook. It’s a book about hospitality, thoughtful hosting, and creating occasions that people remember long after the last plate has been cleared.

It has also made me reflect on why I started Red Pepper Catering in the first place. It was never simply to serve meals, it was to create experiences that bring people together.

I’m looking forward to sharing more about the book over the coming months, and I can’t wait for you to read it.
