The luxury wedding sector is hugely demanding, especially through the long ‘high season,’ from March to November. When a major hire company working in the sector wanted to upgrade its warewashing and drying facilities, it chose Winterhalter.
To cope with the busiest periods they selected one of our high volume MTR rack conveyors – and to be sure they could turn clean ware round fast they also installed a Winterhalter DMX drying device.
In this sector, everything has got to be absolutely perfect – especially glassware! No one wants to toast the bride from a streaky flute. So they have one of our Reverse Osmosis systems fitted, which delivers spotless results, with no need to hand polish – it’s more hygienic, saves staff time and reduces breakages.
In order to get the best results whatever they wash, the MTR has a switchable chemicals system, allowing them to wash glasses, plates, cutlery and utensils, all in the same machine, and all with a sparkling clean finish.
As for the DMX, it’s the perfect solution when you’re pushed for time, drying a rack in just two minutes – and it can even be used with plastic reusable tableware.
This was a big install and was carried out perfectly, so kudos to the mighty service tech team of Martyn Waterhouse and Simon Turrell.
The MTR rack conveyor:
✅ This customer had one of our premium heat exchanger systems fitted to their MTR, massively reducing energy consumption.
✅ MTRs have a huge capacity – the largest can handle up to 355 racks per hour.
The DMX drying device:
✅ Blows air from above and below the racks, so even cups and bowls are completely dried, quickly, inside and out.
✅ In Eco and Standard programs, the DMX starts automatically as soon as the rack is loaded. With the Multirack program, staff simply push a button to confirm loading.
