Today’s homemade soup; SCOTCH BROTH 🥣 A hearty, slow‑simmered Scottish soup built on simple ingredients. It’s thick, comforting and rustic - more like a gentle stew than a soup, full of tender lamb, sweet root vegetables and the nutty chew of barley

Today we say goodbye to someone who’s been part of our little Alba family for over a decade
She joined us at sweet 16 and she immediately started talking and we’re still waiting for her to take a breath 🤭 but she kept us smiling and somehow kept the place running too 😂

We’ve watched her qualify as a nurse and go on to do incredible work in hospice care and we couldn’t be prouder ❤️ Even after starting her career, she still worked a shift or 2 a week with us for another year… ☺️

Thank you for the years, the graft, the loyalty and the memories we love you girl and now it’s your turn to sit back while the rest of us serve you on your Alba visits 🤗 xx
