Am I super green eyed when I see all of these lovely new play cafes with beautifully designed play structures? Yup 👍
Do I know that we have a perfectly serviceable structure which hasn’t cost me £100k? Also yup 😅

I’d love to rip the whole thing out and swap for a gorgeous aesthetic all round, but it’s just not feasible for this tiny one woman biz (and spending all that dollar wouldn’t drive revenue guaranteed no matter how pretty it was). Maybe one day!
For now we are polishing what we have with little tweaks and updates, along with our usual regular safety and maintenance work. Can’t tell you how pleased I am to cover the godawful bamboo print on these panels ⬆️ 😅

SO excited to announce that we are collaborating with the lovely and highly qualified coaches at Obsidian Cheer and Dance | Bath to bring you a new Baby Gym Class especially for the littlest babes, hosted right here at Fox & Kit The Den in our super clean and comfy soft play!

Kicking off with a 3 week taster block of Monday morning classes-
💫 5th, 12th and 19th October
💫 9.15am start, with a table reserved each week in our parent-friendly cafe space after class so it can be as much about social time for you as new parents as a brilliant way to develop your baby’s gross motor skills if you want it to be!
💫 Introductory price of only £6.50 per session

✨ available midweek (from 9.30 to close- 5pm ish) and preferably sundays too (not an absolute dealbreaker depending on mix of people’s availability) at least 2 shifts but up to 4 days a week

Really sorry for any disappointment to our Frome regulars, we’ve tried super hard to try and keep things ticking over through the lovely summer weather and now that the much awaited rain has arrived and Jenna has headed off on an exciting if unexpected new career adventure, we haven’t got the staff to give The Loft the attention it needs and deserves, not for want of trying I promise you.
I am working hard behind the scenes to find a solution to allow us to move forwards whilst ensuring that this new and much more tricky sibling doesn’t end up tanking it’s sister site, and last week on my very long awaited holiday I’ll be honest I thought I’d have the space I needed to think things through and be in a better place with it all, but alas the need to actually switch off at least 20% and inch myself very slowly out of burn out whilst giving my children a bit more of me left literally no grey matter spare for anything else, and now time has ticked by into another week.

So here we are. Awaiting a meeting with the lady we hire the space from and hoping we can find a way forward. Those of you who know me will know quite how much I’m putting into this, and how deeply I already know that this is far less than ideal for a new business to essentially disappear just when there was the tiniest bit of traction and the sun had buggered off for 5mins, but those who are new around here please know I will go to the ends to do the right thing even when it feels like I’m wading through treacle with a coffee machine on my back. If only there were more hours in the day and some hidden money and/or capacity tree knocking about eh 😅
