🌅 Discover lovely Haraki, Rhodes 🇬🇷💙
Once a traditional fishing village, Haraki is now a charming, laid-back seaside resort tucked away on the east coast of Rhodes between Faliraki and Lindos. With its beautiful crescent-shaped bay, clear blue waters and pebble beach, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a little slice of authentic Greek island life. 🌊☀️
We visited in the late afternoon, when things were a little quieter as people headed back to their accommodation to get ready for the evening. We enjoyed a stroll along the waterfront promenade before choosing somewhere for dinner.
There are plenty of lovely waterfront tavernas and family-run restaurants to choose from, serving traditional Greek dishes, fresh seafood and delicious meze, with the sound of the sea just steps away. 🍽️🇬🇷
Overlooking the village are the dramatic ruins of medieval Feraklos Castle, adding a little history to this picturesque coastal spot.
With delicious Greek food, beautiful views across the bay and the sky slowly changing colours as daylight faded into darkness, Haraki was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a slower pace of island life.
