☀️WHAT A WHEATFEST! 🎶

The very first Wheatfest at The Wheatsheaf, Combe Hay, celebrating their 20th anniversary! 🥳🍻

A brilliant day packed with live music, sunshine, great food, cider, face painting and plenty of family fun. ❤️

And what a setting… The Wheatsheaf was built in 1576 as a farmhouse before becoming a pub in the 18th century — while Combe Hay itself is mentioned in the Domesday Book! 📖🏡

History, sunshine, music, food and good times… what more could you want? ☀️🎸🍎

An unexpected day off for Go Greek so we headed over to The Rider’s Rest Café for a few hours of R&R & a delicious homemade Italian sausage ciabatta… followed, of course, by cake! 😋🍰🇮🇹

The Rider’s Rest is a dog-friendly rural café & trattoria at Little Horse Croft Farm in Wellow, Bath, serving authentic Italian home-cooked food. It’s also a favourite stop for local cyclists and walkers 🚲🥾

📍 They’re relocating soon, so make sure you visit them in Wellow before the end of August, or catch them at their new home in Upper Weston from October!

Definitely worth a visit if you love good food & cake ❤️🇮🇹
