Just out of the oven & iced up, the smell in our shop is amazing!!!

If you’re after a CINNAMON ROLL or one of our beautiful RASPBERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE ROLLS the only way to secure your haul is to pop down to the shop or give us a call!!!

Honestly, she’s had a sniff of autumnal crisp leaves & oh my god you should’ve seen just how much hot choc’lit we’ve served up this week?!

I’m not sure if it’s me, a mere 27 year old whipper snapper of a gal or what but it’s not even cold yet?!?!

Anyway, not being the shy & retiring type (although my massive arthritic knuckle got excited typing out retiring!!) to shy away from a lil’ seasonal bandwagon jumping upon & I feel like some of you hardcore/long suffering fans of D&B’s at 35 will totes guess what I’m going to give you a heads up for…

THERE WILL BE CINNAMON OR RASPBERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE ROLLS ON THE COUNTER IN THE MORNING!!!

I know I won’t sleep tonight I’ll be like “has he been yet?” & Holly’ll be like “your knee is on my side, now shut up & go back to sleep cos I’ve gotta get rolls in the oven in the morning, so our lovely customers can enjoy some autumnal feels, you big lump of excitedness!!”

I’m not discussing the weather today but if you need a little sunshine in cake form, don’t worry; we’re here for you!!!

We’ve made our ever so popular LEMON MERINGUE BLONDIE again, cos it’s raining like crazy!!!

We have been thoroughly BLOWN AWAY by the interest shown in our lil’ in-house makers market…must’ve been my professional looking AI poster or sommat?!

As you know we’re only as big as our shop & we wanted a good selection of stalls with no crossovers so I think we’ve chosen a great selection for you?!

Thank you so much to everyone who got in touch, I’m not showing off but I’m fairly confident I could’ve filled all those German sheds round Manchester town hall?!

I have tried to thank each & every one of you personally for getting in touch but I know not all of you will have got this & given that I’m not that tech savvy, I can only apologise & thank you for your interest!!

Our traders have been set, contacted & more details will come closer to but if the evening is as packed as my inbox was after that poster; then I think it’ll be a GREAT NIGHT!!!

Holly & I often overthink doing things in our shop but if you don’t try these things, then you don’t know…& if you’ve had a thriving business in a cute town for nearly 14 years you should have some damn fine loyal customers by now!!!!

Looks like everybody is back to school today…

This made us titter so hard I had to stop the car, in the rain, so Holly could get out & take a picture of this cute little cat!!! We often see it chasing squirrels before school or having a lie down on our way past in a morning, it’s sooooo cute!!!

Good luck today if you’re a blubbering mess/in a celebratory mood after snapping a pic of your kids on the doorstep in their box fresh, ‘you’ll grow into it’ school uniform today, I’ll see you for a calming cup of hot choc at 9am o’clocks!!

Hello you lot, September has hit this morning so we’re making plans!!!

As you can read on my detailed AI poster I whipped up through my vast technological computer skills…we’re going to be holding a little gift market in our shop!!

We’ve got a few lovely stalls on board already but have we overlooked anyone local who makes candles/wax melts/nice smelling things or bespoke jewellery or cards or something I’ve not even thought about? (Not food as it’s a gift market & the conflict of interests).

Please share far & wide or get in touch if it’s you!!!

We’ve been thinking about doing something in our shop like this for a while as Middlewich often gets overlooked for markets!!

If you’ve cancelled your beach trip or BBQ today, then don’t worry; your girls have got you covered literally, physically & emotionally!!!

I watched a video of ravers turning up at the Creamfields, over my morning cup of tea, snuggled up in bed & not that I’ve ever been a clubbing kind of girl (unless it’s a chicken club sandwich or that lunchbox favourite orange club biscuit) but the absolute muddy scenes of folk mooching through in a soft shoe for a weekend of hard drugs & trench foot, well I winced at the thought!!!

If you too are battening down the hatches for a weekend at home then we’ve got the breakfast to set you up this morning…big coats n brollies are a MUST!!!

WE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL TODAY!!!

For those of you who listened in geography lessons you’ll 100% know that Stockholm is absolutely NOT on the way home from Copenhagen but we did visit a new country & enjoy a Swedish reassuringly expensive cake or a ‘cultural experience’ as we like to refer to it!!!

Thank you for everyone’s kind words yesterday, it really meant a lot to us, as did the meet & greet through British passports…😘

We’ve literally had one other ‘closed due to unforseens’ during our nearly 14 years in business so that kind of hit to us runs deep!

I’m just looking forward to a nice busy day of talking about the rain again & the daily situation of the traffic!!

We would’ve got away with it if it wasn’t for those meddling Easy Jet cancelled bloody flights!!!

Good morning you lot!!

We are sadly having a CLOSED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES day today!!

As a lot of you know, Holly & I missed my sisters 50th birthday celebration due to it being Midsummer Murders Weekend, so she pushed a family celebration back 2 months so we could rush to Copenhagen (after work Saturday)where she lives to celebrate with my Mum & Dad!

Unfortunately EasybloodyJet cancelled our flight last night, so we are not going to make it into work today!!!

I’m sure in the future, once our insurance pays out, we’ll laugh about the absolute s**t tonne of money we’ve had to blow on the only remaining SAS flight home which has a transfer through Stockholm…

Sorry for the inconvenience, nobody feels it more than we do!!!
