Whether you're looking to add a touch of sweetness to your holiday table or simply want to enjoy a delicious homemade dessert, this recipe is both easy to follow and sure to impress. I hope you'll give it a try and enjoy the process of making it as much as I do. Let's get started!😁👍❤️🌹
Ingredients:•
400 grams glutinous rice flour•
150 grams wheat starch
(also known as tapioca starch or澄粉)•
300 grams brown sugar•
200 ml coconut milk•
300 ml waterInstructions
1. Prepare the sugar mixture: Add brown sugar to 150 ml of water and bring to a boil over low heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add the coconut milk and stir well. Let the mixture cool down.
2. Mix the dry ingredients: Combine the glutinous rice flour and wheat starch in a large bowl. Gradually add the cooled brown sugar and coconut milk mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously until the batter is thick and lump-free.
3. Prepare the mold: Grease the inside of a container with a thin layer of oil. Pour the batter into the container, smoothing the surface. Cover the container with plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
4. Steam the cake: Place the container in a steamer and steam over high heat for about 60 minutes, until the cake is fully cooked (you can check by inserting a toothpick; if it comes out clean, the cake is done).
5. Cool and refrigerate: Remove the cake from the steamer and let it cool. Once cooled, place it in the refrigerator to chill.
6. Fry the slices: After chilling, cut the cake into pieces. Heat a small amount of oil in a non-stick pan and fry the cake pieces over low heat until both sides are golden brown.Hope you like it 😘❤️🌹###
