The pub Is well established and friendly local pub just off Brecon road and near Cyfarthfa Park
We have real ales that change every week and double dragon on the pull. Carling,Coors,Carling Premier,Worthy,Strongbow,Dark fruit and Guinness, bottle beers and spirits
We have a lounge area, bar area, games area and a sheltered smoking area with heater. In the games area there is pool table, dart board and the pub has teams playing in Merthyr local leagues.

Another fantastic Gentleman’s Day at the Rose & Crown!

A packed room, great stories and a great spread with guest speaker Jonathan Davies CBE - Welsh rugby legend who excelled in both union and league before becoming a familiar voice on our television screens.

The afternoon was brilliantly compered by Robert Jones MBE former Wales and British & Irish Lions scrum half.

Two Welsh rugby greats with plenty of stories to share!

Money raised today will go to Velindre Cancer Centre, a cause Jonathan has championed for many years. A cracking day supporting such important work.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it another day to remember!
