Meet Hywel 👋
You’ll usually find him either managing the bar or making sure The Gazelle keeps on running behind the scenes.
Originally from Colombia, Hywel is also a veteran of the Colombian Army - so there’s a bit more to him than pouring a good pint.
His drink of choice is Guinness or rum, and when it comes to the menu, being chief taste tester for new dishes is apparently the best perk of the job 😁
That said, the chowder and salt & pepper calamari are firm favourites.

And just like that... it’s disappeared. 💨🍫
Our rather addictive Triple Chocolate Mousse with honeycomb and pistachio has officially sold out.
But all is not lost - the Banoffee Brownie with fudge sauce and ice cream is on hand to satisfy those sweet-tooth cravings until the mousse makes its triumphant return next week. 😉

Our pan-seared scallops land as a special this Friday, served with the kind of view that still delivers even when the blue skies take the afternoon off.

One of the friendly faces behind the bar at The Gazelle, Aimee has just completed her first year of nursing training - so she’s clearly no stranger to looking after people.
Her drink of choice is a cold Madri, and if she’s ordering from the menu, it’s the tandoori chicken skewers every time.
