⭐️ Happy 1st Birthday to Driscoll & Grounds ⭐️

One year ago today, we opened the doors to our community coffee shop, Driscoll & Grounds. Our goal was to create a little space where people could come together, have a good coffee, a chat, and feel welcome. Somewhere everyone felt included… and somewhere our four-legged friends were welcome too.

We always believed it could happen, but we never imagined the love and support we’d receive. From familiar faces returning every week to new faces becoming part of our little community, thank you. Knowing we’ve created somewhere you can come to relax, enjoy a coffee and have a chat means more than we’ll ever be able to put into words.

This past year has been filled with busy Saturdays, wonderful events, charity fundraisers, hundreds of pup cups and so much laughter.

To our amazing team – thank you. Every Saturday you arrive smiling, fuelled by an impressive amount of caffeine before we even open (Lola… this one’s definitely aimed at you 😝😘). Your kindness, hard work and energy never go unnoticed, and I’m so grateful for every one of you.

I’m incredibly lucky to run D&G alongside my mum, with my grandma proudly taking on the role of “kitchen staff” (and reminding us we’re definitely loading the dishwasher wrong!). Three generations of women who simply love our community and want to give something back.

This year has been a big one for me personally too, finishing my degree whilst D&G has continued to grow. Through all of it, my mum has been the one holding everything together. She does so much for D&G, and without her, it simply wouldn’t exist in the way it does today. Thank you Mum, for absolutely everything 🤍

And Dad… thank you for quite literally building D&G. From a few ideas and sketches to the setup everyone sees today, you made our vision a reality, and we’ll always be grateful for that.

Most importantly, thank you to every single one of you. Whether you’ve visited us once, come every Saturday, brought your friends, shared our posts or simply supported us from afar, you’ve helped make D&G what it is.

Here’s to the next chapter of D&G!! We love you all!!🥂⭐️🎉🤍

From this weekend, our pup cups will be 10p, with every pup cup sold helping us make a donation to Dogs Trust. 🤍

We love meeting all of your dogs each weekend, so we thought it would be nice if every little treat could also help dogs in need.

Thank you for supporting us, and for helping us support such a brilliant cause. We can’t wait to see you (and your four-legged friends!) tomorrow ⭐️

🎶 We're heading to Music at the Mill! 🍪🍩

This Saturday evening, the Driscoll & Grounds team will be at Music at the Mill serving up some delicious sweet treats to keep you going while you enjoy an evening of fantastic live music.

And once the last cookie has been sold... don't be surprised if you spot the D&G team enjoying a well-earned tipple and soaking up the atmosphere! 🍻🎵
