We’re looking for volunteers to join our Youth Club rota at Melbourne (Monday 6-8.30pm)

You don’t need to be an experienced youth worker... though some experience of working with young people is desirable, it’s certainly not essential. What we really need are reliable, friendly people who want to help create a safe, welcoming space for local young people.

All volunteers will need to complete safeguarding training and a DBS check, and you’ll be supported along the way.

There’s also a paid opportunity! 👀

The organisation we work with to run our Youth Club is currently recruiting paid youth workers. The role will include working at Melbourne, as well as supporting other youth clubs across the region.

After the summer break, we are getting busy again with some much-loved favourites, alongside our regular weekly groups.

🌈 Monday | Tiddlywinks is BACK!

Our Tiddlywinks group returns after the summer holidays! Suitable for toddlers up to around 2½ years, with songs, activities, stories and snacks. A lovely way for little ones to play and parents/carers to meet others.

🎉 Melbourne Festival is turning 21! 🎉

And we’re helping them celebrate at the Hub! 🥳

This week, come along and get creative with us as we make birthday cards and colourful bunting to help decorate the festival during its big 21st birthday weekend. 🎨🎈

Junk Model Village 🏡♻️

Join us for another relaxed SEND family craft afternoon - this time we’re getting creative with junk modelling!

Bring along your children and your recycling box and let’s see what we can build together. Boxes, tubes, cartons, bottle tops… if it looks like it could become something, bring it along! 😂

We might even have a go at creating our own model village, with some recognisable local buildings and landmarks thrown in. 🏡⛪🏰

This session is especially welcoming for children with SEND and their families. There’s no pressure, no expectations and no right or wrong way to join in. Come as you are, work at your own pace, take breaks when you need to, and enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment.
