The Mucky Duck A quintessential eatery, shrouded in history, overlooking The Chesterfield Canal. We have three beautiful settings where we serve an array of menus.

Set within a Grade II Listed, late 18th century building; The Mucky Duck is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Join us for drinks and "Duck classics" in our dog friendly pub. We have two elegant Restaurants to choose from where we serve lunch, afternoon tea, and an a la carte menu. All served between 12pm-3pm

As evening approaches we continue to serve a la carte and a limited "Duck classics"

menu, there's truly something for everyone. Served between 6pm-8.30pm

Not forgetting our well renowned Sunday lunch! served between 12-5pm

We are proud to use locally-sourced food and we work with some wonderful suppliers to bring you the freshest food of the highest quality

We want to thank everyone for their messages, support, and even their frustrations following the news of our closure. It’s been emotional for all involved, and we truly understand why.
To be clear: everyone with a booking, deposit, or voucher will be refunded in full. No one will be left out of pocket. We’re working on a fair and efficient plan and will contact each of you directly.

It is with deep regrets that The Mucky Duck will be closing its doors indefinitely. At this time, there will be no plans for reopening.

We would like to thank everyone that has stuck by us through this journey, thank you for all your support and understanding.

Spring Saturday 🌷
It’s been a week since we had the honour of holding our first wedding of the spring/summer, and it was sheer perfection!
The weather was gorgeous, the drinks were ice cold, and the food was delicious!
