Hi everyone hope you are all well. I've really missed you, but I'm enjoying my free time and holidays and my lovely little job working for Home Instead in Chesterfield. I know how many of you used to enjoy your Psychic night with Kirsty Celik , well she's at my friends shop in Chesterfield, these guys have just moved out of Matlock Bath into Chesterfield and used to come to my nights. Just 12 DAYS to opening night of this year's Matlock Bath Illuminations - and the first chance to see the 2023 spectacular parade of decorated boats on the River Derwent ❤️.

The early weekends are a favourite time for visitors who prefer a more sedate experience than the busy fireworks Saturdays in October.

Accompanied under 16s go FREE and remember it's cheaper to book adult tickets in advance at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/illuminations

The boats will parade every Saturday and Sunday throughout the season from 9 September to 29 October, plus we have food and drink stalls every weekend, the kiddies' funfair, children's characters and of course the Illuminations in Derwent Gardens and Lovers' Walks.

Fireworks finales will happen every Saturday in October and on the last night - Sunday 29 October.

It's our last Sunday today. Next weekend we can have a lie in. Come and see us before we go for a lovely breakfast or a cocktail in Heather's. We will be coming back for a game of golf when Bonkers illumination opens. Exciting times.🥰

Omg what a day, it was our last Saturday and we have been so busy, plus I had to cater for 150 people for my brothers wedding, I didn't even get home to change but I didn't care. Was so proud 🥰

Oh my what a day, I wasn't aware it was beat the bikers today and we were absolutely packed out. But to say we could have done with 2 more staff in, they all did absolutely amazing. Thank you so much girls, I'm so proud of you all❤️

Hi everyone, I can't believe the time has come to write this post. It's a happy and a sad moment for us but I have to break the news that we are leaving Forget Me Not at the end of this month.
Myself and Kev have decided it's time to get our life back and start doing things. We don't go anywhere because we are open every weekend and we are not getting any younger.
It's a very busy shop and I'm
so proud of what we have achieved in the last 7 years as we built the business up from nothing.
BUT ITS NOT THE END!
Things are good, there's a lovely new couple coming in with their family to start a new and exciting venture, just what matlock bath needs. I can't say much about it yet but I will update and share with you on here as soon as they are up and running.
We would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting us along our journey, you aren't just customers you have become friends and family and we have shared lots of laughs, joy and tears with you all. That's one thing we are really going to miss.
We would also like to thank all our staff who have worked for us over the last few years, we couldn't have done it without you. You have all been amazing.
If anyone has gift vouchers they haven't used could you please book and use them by bank holiday Monday as this will be the last day.
We will still be around, I have a few things lined up and we will still be visiting Matlock Bath as we have made lots of lovely friends and will also be supporting the new business. I'm excited for them. Make sure you still give them your continued support.
