It’s Taste Maryport weekend - so of course our legendary ‘Taste of the Sea’ pizza is back! 🥳🦞🦐🍋🦀

Local langoustine, lobster & crab from Chelaris Fresh Fish plus prawns on our vermouth sauce, topped with rocket, samphire and lemon zest. This is not just any pizza… 😋

We’re doing pizza and local seafood lunches to grab & go or eat in at Portobello’s restaurant this year (not from the Horsebox). Serving on the Saturday (8th August) from 12 noon. Here’s to a fantastic weekend 🥂

🦞🦐 🍋Thanks to everyone who’s been in over past weeks and had the stunning fresh fish from our local boats and Cumbrian sirloin steaks. They’ve been flying out. Your feedback’s been so phenomenal (what can we say, all thanks to our fabulous Chelaris and Walsh’s Butchers 👏) that we’ve come up with a surf ‘n turf-inspired Specials Menu for Taste Maryport next weekend.

Special menu below at Portobello from Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th August - and NEW also opening lunchtime from 12 noon on 8th. Seafood lovers can book at the usual portobellowoodfired.co.uk/book-a-table !🦞🦐

There’ll also be a limited pizza menu and a couple of vegetarian options. Or find our pizza just down the street at The Smugglers- we’ll have lots of dough and availability all weekend there (no bookings, just walk-ins 😊).

Tastes of summer with our menu celebrating good times. Plus specials this week, such as these Portuguese-style garlic prawns 🦐🍤😋, the most delicious roasted med veg skewers and other treats from the wood fire, including whole fresh mackerel.
