We are pleased to announce the official opening of The Silks on the Downs in Ogbourne St. Andrew.

Mihai Gal, recognised for his outstanding work at The Winterbourne in Winterbourne Bassett, together with Alex Drondoe, brings a renewed focus on excellence, hospitality, and a high‑quality experience for every guest.

We have been truly humbled by the remarkable support from the community throughout the preparation of the pub. Your time, effort, and encouragement have played a vital role in helping us restore The Silks and prepare it for this exciting new chapter. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed.

With your support and a dedicated new team, The Silks on the Downs is ready to welcome you back. Guests can look forward to a refreshed atmosphere, attentive service, and a menu crafted with care.
