Wow! Our second Psychic Evening with Sue Warren is now officially FULLY BOOKED! ❤️

After the fantastic response to Sue’s first visit, we knew this one would be popular — but you lovely lot have done it again!

🎟️ Every ticket has now been sold for Friday 2nd October.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has booked. We’re really looking forward to welcoming you for another fantastic evening — and for those joining us for supper, there’ll be plenty of homemade pie, peas & roasties waiting too! 🥧😋

⚠️ A little reminder for everyone attending:

🥧 Supper ticket holders: please arrive no later than 6:45pm
🔮 Entry-only ticket holders: please arrive no later than 7:45pm

Sue begins promptly at 8pm and unfortunately we cannot allow entry once the show has started.

As the nights start drawing in and we head into autumn, here are our updated opening hours at Gelato Lounge:

Monday — 9am–2:30pm
Tuesday — 9am–2:30pm
Wednesday — 9am–2:30pm
Thursday — 9am–8pm
Friday — 9am–10:30pm
Saturday — 9:30am–10:30pm
Sunday — 9:30am–6:30pm

🍽️ Last orders are 30 minutes before closing.

Please note, our opening times may occasionally vary during periods of particularly good weather or during quieter periods — we'll always keep you updated here on Facebook if anything changes.

Whether it's breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, a cheeky gelato or a few drinks to finish the week, we'll see you soon! 🍦☕🍻

From Gelato to Nursing 🩺🍦

From scooping up gelato
And serving tea and cake,
To heading off to Lincoln
With a whole new life to make.

She’s travelled here, she’s travelled there,
She’s seen a fair old bit,
But now she’s off to university —
With far too much bloody s**t! 😂

She’s artistic and creative,
With talents by the ton,
Though getting packed and organised
Is somewhat less her fun.

She loves all creatures great and small,
The furry, wild and tame,
And probably likes most animals
More than people, all the same. 🐾

But now she’s going into nursing,
To care for those in need,
With kindness, patience, knowledge
And a stomach strong indeed.

So goodbye shifts at Gelato’s,
The coffees, cakes and queue,
Hello scrubs and placement days
And bodily fluids too! 🤢

We know that she’ll be brilliant,
We couldn’t be more proud,
Though knowing our Sophie, she'll do it all
In a way that stands out from the crowd.

So here’s to Lincoln, student life,
New memories by the score,
Go chase the life you’ve worked for, Soph —
We couldn’t love you more. ❤️

And if the nursing gets too much,
And everything goes wrong…
You can always come back to Gelato’s.

🤠 WESTERN NIGHT – POSTPONED 🤠

Unfortunately, our Western Night on Thursday 24th September will have to be postponed until further notice.

Our camp cook has only gone and broken his leg 🤦‍♂️🩼 and, as much as he’d like to pretend otherwise, standing in a kitchen cooking cowboy grub all night probably isn’t going to happen! 😂

We’re really sorry to everyone who has already booked and was looking forward to the night. All existing bookings will have the choice of a full deposit refund, or you can carry your deposit forward to the new date once it’s announced.

We absolutely WILL be bringing Western Night back as soon as our camp cook is back on his feet, so keep your cowboy hats handy! 🤠

Just a little heads-up that Gelato Lounge will be closing at 5pm tomorrow, Saturday 5th September, as we have a private function taking place. 🥂✨

We’ll be open as usual throughout the day, so there’s still plenty of time to pop in for breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake or a cheeky gelato! 🍦☕🍰

Last orders will be before 5pm.

Thanks so much for your understanding, and we’ll be back open as normal afterwards. 💚

🍦 WE'RE BACK! 🍦

Well... what a morning that turned out to be! 😅

The freezer issue has now been sorted and we're delighted to say that our ice cream is back and we're fully open as normal!

We'd like to say a massive thank you to Burgess Ice Cream Ltd for absolutely saving the day. They went above and beyond by supplying us with a replacement freezer at incredibly short notice, meaning we could get back up and running within 24 hours

It's moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to work with such fantastic local businesses. We genuinely couldn't have done it without them. 💙

Thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding and all the lovely messages this morning.

Now... who's ready for a scoop (or three)? 🍨😋

❄️ Important Update ❄️

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected issue with our ice cream display freezer this morning, we won't be serving ice cream today while we work to resolve the problem.

To allow us time to safely clear up and get everything sorted, Gelato Lounge will be opening at 10:30am today.

Our kitchen and drinks will be available as normal from 10:30, so if you're fancying breakfast, brunch, coffee or lunch, we'd still love to see you!

We're really sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding while we get everything back up and running.

Thank you for your continued support – hopefully we'll be back scooping your favourite flavours very soon! 🍦💙
