Yesterday was American Day. We learnt about American history and culture, did you know America does not have an official language?! We also had Monika's amazing cheeseburgers for lunch (much better than McDonald's) followed by waffle and blueberry ice cream... delicious 😋

We have a sunflower, tomatoes growing, the day Lilly's first flower is out and after 5 years of trying with our fig tree a tiny start of a fig is growing....finally, can you spot it?

I hope you're not all melting. We are keeping as cool as we can and yesterday made the bugs a new hotel for the courtyard. This morning we kept cool in Hallaton church having coffee and cakes with our friends in the village and this afternoon we got a cool breeze at Buttercups after visiting Parsons nursery.
