Autumn is arriving in Goldstone’s kitchen garden, where squash, pumpkins and chillies are bringing colour to the beds – and plenty of inspiration for our chefs. 🎃🌶️

Come and celebrate the season with us. Children can carve a pumpkin to take home at our half-term workshop, then explore the gardens. On 3rd October you can gather around the table for our Harvest Supper, celebrating the flavours of autumn.

At Goldstone, our one-acre kitchen garden is integral to our restaurant. Throughout the seasons, fruit is picked at its best and brought inside to inspire puddings, preserves and accompaniments for our menus.

From espaliered fruits to soft berries, each harvest brings something different to the table – often appearing in a crumble, tarts, compotes or one of the tempting desserts on our traditional pudding trolley always served on a Sunday luncheon.

Freshly picked, full of flavour and grown just footsteps from the restaurant: it is one of the simple pleasures of dining at Goldstone.

No one is ever too old for pumpkin carving! Spooky or cute – the choice is yours.

Dress up in your Halloween best and join us in the Oak Pavilion for a morning or afternoon creativity (and a little mess!).

Children will enjoy carving their own pumpkin, followed by a play in the garden, a lovely hands on workshop to explore your creativity.
