❤️ A LITTLE UPDATE FROM US AT THE PLAY CAFE ❤️
This is not the easiest post to write, but we wanted to be completely open and honest with you all.
Like so many small businesses, our rent, insurance and other bills have all increased, and unfortunately this means we’ve had to make a few small changes to some of our prices.
We’ve genuinely tried our best to keep these changes as small as possible because we know that every little bit adds up for families. ❤️
The good news is that our main child entry price is staying exactly the same! 🥰
👶 Babies 0–1 years: FREE (NO CHANGE)
🧸 Children aged 1–6: £3.50 (NO CHANGE)
👧 Additional sibling: £2.50 (previously £1.50)
👩‍👧‍👦 Childminder rate: £2 per child (previously £1.50)
☕️ Some menu items will increase by a maximum of 50p
🎉 And another bit of good news, our PARTY PACKAGE PRICES are staying exactly the same! 🎈❤️
Our shop prices will also stay the same, including our toys, cards, drink bottles and other goodies, and you can still shop these through our website too. 🛍️💕
We know that price increases are never something anyone wants to see, and we really hope you’ll understand why we’ve had to make these changes.
We love The Play Cafe so much and have put our hearts into making it a place where families can come, play, relax, meet friends and make memories. We really want to keep it going and continue being part of our lovely local community for many years to come. ❤️
Every single visit, coffee, cake, meal, party booking and purchase really does make a difference to our little business.
Your support genuinely means more than you probably realise, and we are so incredibly grateful for it. 🥹❤️

We’re really excited to announce that from Wednesday 30th September, we’ll be opening EVERY WEDNESDAY from 9:30am–2:30pm! 🎉
So there’ll be another weekday to come along for a play, coffee, cake, lunch and a catch-up! ☕️🧁🛝
