We’ll have these little dumplings, filled with mushrooms and cabbage, on the menu this evening in a nod to the Ukrainian varenyky dumpling.

Almost all countries, particularly those across the old Silk Road, have a version of these - call them gyoza, pierogies or dumplings, eating them with friends is always a pleasure. We are saddened that Ukrainians are unlikely to be able to enjoy such simple things at this time.

We will be donating the proceeds to and we’ll also be asking customers if they would be kind enough to add an additional donation to all bills this month. All donations will be going to for their efforts in Ukraine. 🇺🇦

Yesterday we launched to a crowd of local food professionals at our lovely space in Margate’s old town. The school is run by me, Kate, and Harry and Simona

We launch our first programme via our website this week and are super excited to share what we have been working on with you.

Yesterday we made (and ate) cavatelli pasta with Simona and gyoza with me.

It was a lot of fun and we hope you’ll join in with us soon for one of our classes. There will be more from Simona and I plus patisserie from , fermentation from , a very exciting dinner party 101 from , cocktails from and Sri Lankan from - lots more classes are in the pipeline so sign up to our newsletter or follow us here.
