The Margate Coffee Shed is now Seabird Margate!

Seabird Margate is the second site by the team that opened the first Seabird in Ramsgate, back in summer 2023. We have been operating the place as The Coffee Shed since April 2025, slowly learning the ropes, and getting the place ready to hatch as Seabird Spring 2026.

You can expect great coffee and all-day brunch, 7 days a week, but also opening for craft cocktails and tasty, seasonal bar snacks and plates in the evening.

We are open as Seabird now, but with menus changing week. Keep an eye on socials for updates.

The Margate Coffee Shed is back open today after our mini-break!
We're really pleased with the changes and we hope you will be too.
We've got a new counter and new banquette seating.
There's still quite a lot more to do, and so we will be closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week as well, to finish the painting, to install new air-conditioning and heating and to get the beer taps up and running again.
Hopefully we'll see you down here soon.
