😜HOW TO THROW A PARTY😜
Have & launch in 2025.
Gain some momentum over the course of the year and let your team do their thing.
Work a lot of hours behind the scenes making sure it all flows logistically: time management/stock management/deliveries etc etc
Prep prep prep prep prep prep prep
Throw on a classic playlist left by baby bro
Turn the lights way down, .incense , burning, candles lit and throw open the fu***ng door.
Our first week on our new Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
Big up to for all the help w prep, manning the griddle and expediting.ofl on the griddle and managing to go to uni too.
for prep support and dish pit when the machine decided not to turn on for a day.
for jolly front of house service despite major airport snafu in Berlin
for the cool calm collected and courteous vibes in by far his busiest services yet.

What a week!
One more night of to go.
Vegan tostada option on our menu for the event is refried black beans topped with jerk marinated celeriac, mint chutney and plantain crumb. Bringing bold, spicy and herbaceous flavours to the first week of February.

🙏APPRECIATION POST🙏
Huge thanks to the team for producing another stellar event.
The community spirit really shined, the national attention off the of the back of the weekend is a testament to the calibre of artists living in working in Thanet and we hope that this momentum can be used as the campaign for progresses.
We had a few rather lovely mentions in the programme so wanted to say a big thank you to this lot too.

Your support throughout our years on the harbour and the High Street keep us going.
Pl***oy Pay Gap continues to hang on our walls through February for those who didn’t get a chance to see it yet.

Just a friendly reminder that we are expanding our operating hours in conjunction w which is looking absolutely ramma jamma.

From that week and through the rest of the year we will be open from 5:30pm Tuesday-Saturday so please do book in to join us.

We’ve picked up new house wines from an organic Tempranillo and a Verdejo both from Spain.

Friends, family, food & a change of scenery can do wonders.

Kirstie took a ski trip to France & I headed back to the states to eat/sleep…we are ready and raring for 2026.

We have a slight tweak in operating hours .dive.margate w dinner service now commencing at 5:30PM. We will no longer be offering lunch on Saturdays but are more than happy to run this service for private events if you are so inclined.

In conjunction w we will be launching a fuller week of dining opportunity; dinner service will happen Tuesday-Saturday from February 3rd & there on out.

💙HIGH DIVE IS TWO💙
Here’s a little video recap of the build!
We confirmed we wanted the lease the first weekend we turned over 6k on the harbour.
We bought the Bruno Ray chairs on eBay and had them sent from Germany before we had done anything else😜
It took us nearly 2.5yrs to get her open but when you have packing peanuts in the ceilings, a gas wok cooker in your dining room and derelict stairs leading in all directions it takes time and money (anyone want to know how much debt we’ve take on over the last 5 years 🤯).
We think all@the time, money and sweat was worth it.
We are still here, we’re still q***r and we are over the moon to be celebrating our second birthday with some much needed r&r with our families.
We continue to learn on a daily basis, constantly trying to work smarter not harder.
We absolutely adore our team and all of our customers. We are doing this for all of you and it’s incredibly rewarding.
As we enter our terrible two’s we are embracing what it means to come into our own.
We promise to be more open, more fun, more sexy and more accommodating as High Dive develops.
