After a very challenging 18 months I am sad to announce the closure of Waverley House.

Firstly, THANK YOU to all the guests that has supported us over the years, from our Fish Friday pop-up at Cliffs, our first little restaurant New Street Bistro & New Street Al Fresco to Waverley House.

I also want to say thank you to our amazing team that has worked tirelessly to deliver amazing food, fantastic service and real hospitality over the years.

We are hiring senior front of house supervisor!

After a very successful first year here in Margate we now have an opening for a senior supervisor.

Waverley House is a multi-story building located on the seafront in Margate and is the home to our super popular restaurant that is open all day, seven days a week. New for this year is that we have also opened our event space/private hire venue where we will be hosting birthday parties, dinners, weddings and events.

Who are we looking for?
You are a good organiser, standards driven and focussed person with a passion for good food, high quality drinks and hospitality. Plenty of experience in high quality but informal restaurants is essential.

In return we are offering:
* Competitive salary.
* Equal share of tips/service charge.
* 28 days annual holiday.
* Optional pension scheme.
* We also have a room in shared staff accommodation available if needed.

👀This is happening tonight👀
We’re super excited to be cooking one of many dishes and joining so many incredible hospitality superstars at tonight. Margate has a real community and this fundraiser proofs it, we love this little seaside town!
Big shout out to , & for creating the new hub/cafe where we will bring young people into the hospitality industry 👏🏼
Dinner tickets are sold out for tonight but we still have Disco Tickets available so make sure to come and join us for a dance from 9.30pm.

FISH & CHIPS at Waverley House!
You have spoken and we have listened! So many of you have asked for fish & chips, so here it is, our version of Fish & Chips.
We have decided to pan fry our fish rather than deep fry. Reason being we only to use fresh fish delivered daily, not frozen like many others. This also means that the dish is always gluten free and much healthier than a regular fish & chips.
Today we are using Hake, tomorrow it might be Cod or Haddock, it all depends on what our local fishmonger Paul (.h.fish_hastings) and his fleet of boats catches.

Our function room, “The Gallery”, is now available to book. The room is located on the ground floor at Waverley House with a beautiful sea-view, private bar and it’s own separate entrance.

We have a great sound system with 6 “egg speakers” that are connected to Spotify so you can play your own music or we can pick a suitable playlist for you.
How does it work:
We don’t charge any venue hire, all we ask is for you to eat and drink from one of our private dining or buffet menus. We also have a number of drinks packages to choose from.
