Whether you donated raffle prizes, bought tickets, made a donation, bid in the auction, volunteered your time, or simply came along to support the event – thank you. Every single contribution made a difference.

A very special thank you goes to Merlin and the Rockets for providing the entertainment, and to Dave Vidler, and Mike Malone for their incredible generosity and support. Your kindness helped make the evening truly memorable.

Together, our amazing community raised £1,283 to support the Marden Dementia Friendly Community. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part.

🏏🏆 SINNERS ARE THE WINNERS! 🏆🏏

What an incredible day!

A huge thank you to everyone who made Sunday's Saints vs Sinners cricket match such a fantastic success. To the players, organisers, volunteers, Marden Sports Club clubhouse team and groundsman, and to everyone who came along to cheer us on – thank you for making it another unforgettable community event.

Congratulations to the Sinners on bringing the trophy home for another year! 🏆😇. It was by the smallest of margins. The game went to the last ball and Sinners won by just 1 run.

A very special thank you to for
contribution over the years and proudly bringing the trophy back to The Unicorn Pub & Dining , where it will remain on display behind the bar. The Sinners look forward to defending it next year 😉

We would also like to extend special thanks to Sam Helesfay and Alan Ennis (team captains), to Nikky Harvey and Vicki Young from Marden Parish Church ⁰alive.

Finally, we thank Robin Judd and the much missed David McFarland who had the vision to establish this much-loved annual event, it is their legacy to continue to bring our community together each year. ❤️

Please note that The Unicorn 🦄 Marden will be closing at 3:00 PM on Sunday, following our lunchtime service, so that our team and customers can head over to Marden Sports Club to support one of our village's most loved traditions.

For over 20 years, the annual Saints vs Sinners cricket match has brought our community together for a fantastic afternoon of sport, friendship and village spirit. Founded in 2004, this much-loved fixture has become one of the highlights of the Marden summer calendar.

With a delicious BBQ, outdoor bar, plenty of laughter and a wonderful community atmosphere, it's the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.

We hope you'll join us in cheering on our Unicorn Sinners as they battle for local bragging rights once again!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the wedding of Samantha Williams & Gary Robins such a beautiful and unforgettable celebration here at The Unicorn Marden.

It was an absolute privilege to host your special day, and we are so grateful to all the wonderful family, friends and suppliers whose hard work, kindness and attention to detail made everything so magical.
