March United Services Members CIU Working Mens Club Become a member for just £15.05, then renew every 1st of January at £10.00. Senior Membership is just £5.00 per year.

Hall Hire is available for up to 250 people for adult and kids parties, weddings and christenings. We can also host funeral wakes with FREE hall hire for member(s) funeral wakes and charity events. We have fully equiped kitchen with in-house catering facilities available. Please call and speak with the staff for more details.

"September days have the warmth of summer in their briefer hours, but in their lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn”. We have a medium night this coming Saturday (not too late to get a ticket), before we make our traditional coach trip to the seaside on Friday the 11th. Skegness is again the chosen location and there are some seats still available - just pop in or message the club. Saturday the 19th sees a welcome return of the wonderful Mandy Reilly who surprised many of us earlier this year when she more than ably deputised for an unwell Cecil Farayi. Then on Saturday the 26th it promises to be a fabulous night as the Midnight Hoboes make their debut performance where they have promised an evening of "banging tunes"! A quick thanks to all who came and supported the club yesterday. Around 140 of you attended the Club's Summer Buffet, there were 30 or so in the club bar supporting the House Darts competition and there were plenty of other members who were in for a drink and enjoying the great atmosphere. My thanks to Karen Greenslade and Liam Moore who ran their respective events so well. The 'summer squares' sheet sold out with 500 entries and the raffle too was a great sucess. My thanks to the many who donated prizes for that. The feedback for Vicky (our singer on the day) was amazing so she will definately make a return. Then of course I have to thank those who helped Karen make the buffet the sucess that it was (as usual) - Lynda Stimson, Carol Grainger, Sue Heath, Christine Halliday, Sharon Ball and Jason Armstrong. Thanks to the Bar Staff and anyone else that I've missed.
