So today we officially handed the keys back to Our Teal Cafe 🥰
I'd like to thank everyone that came in and supported us ...it's been some journey with both highs and lows. We leave knowing we tried and we learnt a lot along the way. I absolutely loved the environment we created, it was exactly how I'd envisaged and I'll forever be proud of our time there and what we achieved as a Team.
Thank you to all of my girls for all of your hard work and dedication, it didn't go unnoticed ❤️
We are still very much trading as "Glam Eats/ Glam Grazing By Gem and are still here for all of your Catering needs however big or small, Events, Office Lunches, Afternoon Teas, Weddings, Dinners, BBQs and everything in between!
We would like to wish Emma and her team the very best of luck and hope they enjoy lots of success, if they get to meet half as many lovely people as we did they will be very lucky, oh and our resident Pat...make sure you look after Pat! 💕

It is with sadness that I have decided to close Teal Cafe, this is a decision that I have battled with for a long time.
I feel very privileged that we have gained some very lovely regular customers but unfortunately lack of indoor seating and increased costs just makes it too difficult for us to survive.
I am grateful to my team who have all played a big part in trying to keep Teal going, a small independent cafe actually takes alot of work. We try to make everything on site which is quite labour intensive, it is not possible to run the cafe with less than two people, three when it is busy at lunchtime but the return unfortunately is not enough to keep it going.
We are busy with our event catering Glam Grazing by Gem x and have our new sparkly unit nearly ready 😅 and waiting, unfortunately there are just not enough hours in the day to do it all and sometimes hard decisions have to be made.
We are very lucky that we have lots of exciting plans for 2024, this will include the set up of our new Catering Trailer which will be "going live" next year at the entrance of Platinum Business Park on Thorby Avenue....so it's not all bad news!
Thank you all for your support over the last year, we appreciate every single one of our customers and hope that we see you all in 2024...the location will just be different ♥️xx

Today Tom is up! Many of you will know Tom Westbrook from Westbrook Window Repairs and when he’s working locally, Tom pops into Teal for his regular lunch order. We put ‘Tom’s hard boiled eggs’ to one side in the fridge and know his order so well by now that he merely has to request ‘the usual’!
Can any of you guess what ‘The Tom’ is? X
I’ll give you a clue…. 5 ingredients… but what are they?
It just goes to show that we, at Teal, will pull out all the stops to create your ultimate breakfast or lunch choice xx

It’s the run up to Christmas and we’re starting to feel a little festive at Teal!

During December, we will be introducing some of our regular customers who will tell you why they keep coming back….

First up, it’s Roger!
Roger comes to Teal Cafe for his breakfast several times a week when he is on a walk with his parents. Roger and his mum and dad wait patiently outside while we get their breakfast ready for them before they take it home to enjoy. Roger loves his Teal takeaway so much that even when we are closed, Roger pulls his parents towards the Teal Cafe door when out walking! Clearly Roger has epic taste in sausages and gives Teal Cafe the paws up! 🐾
