‼️🐮 Meet The Team Tuesday 🐮‼️

This week, for those of you who don't already know him, we'd like to introduce Matt!

Matt is 22 and has been part of our herd for almost a year now! Starting as bar staff and our quiz night hero 👊🏼 He pours you your tipple and plays his part every week, making sure the shift runs as it should and working hard behind our bar.
More recently, Matt has stepped up as Bar Supervisor 💪🏼 Working alongside Beth & Lisa (whilst Jono is off on his jollies in the States and Lina has a poorly wrist 😢) Opening & closing the pub, being point of call on shift, keeping the cellar bang on and more!!! What a legend 🙏

Some of Matts nicknames are, Matt😂 (Short for Matthew if you weren't sure 👀)... Clarky, Jeremy, Fit Matt, McBaddie, Angel Face, MC, pookie... the list goes on.

Matt's favourite drink we sell is an Old J's Spiced Rum or a sour craft beer when we have one pouring! besides a Coke Zero of course ❤️

Outside of work Matt enjoys going to the gym! Keeping in touch with friends from University and travelling to Leeds to see them, for nights out etc... Going cinema, watching films and TV shows. He also loves to read, especially philosophy (which he is going to do a masters degree in, in September) ✨️

Ratcliffe Gate is being resurfaced overnight (8pm–6am), so you might be sent on a little detour.

But fear not… your favourite local is open as usual! Thanks for your patience while the council give our street a glow‑up 🍻💛

We are staying open tonight until 11pm (or whenever the game finishes) ⚽️

Upstairs in the Cow Shed will be open for all you footy fans! Sound on loud, beers on tap 🍺

*NOTE* - They are resurfacing the road on Ratcliffe Gate between the hours of 8pm-6am. You can still access the pub, but may be diverted another way. A little frustrating but please bare with us and we are definitely still open!***

‼️🐮 Meet The Team Tuesday 🐮‼️

So this Tuesday, we would like to introduce the small but mighty Lily 💪🏼

Lily is 22 and has worked at the Brown Cow now since September last year. So getting close to a whole year with us!
As bar staff, she is the eyes and ears on shift and pours you your perfect pint 🍺 She gets stuck in and works hard alongside all our team 👊🏼

Some of Lily's nicknames are Lileh, Oi Lambley and i'm sure Emma has a few more...

Her favourite drink we sell is an Inch's, or a Verdant Lightbulb if we have it on the bar 🍺

Lily enjoys walking her dogs and spending time at home with them and family. She studied Philosophy in Sheffield and travels there often to see friends she made whilst at Uni ❤️

She is working tonight, ready for us showing the England game at 9pm! Be sure to say hello 👋🏼
