🎉 WE’RE CELEBRATING 6 MONTHS! 🎉

Today marks six months since Hygieia & Co first opened its doors, and what an incredible six months it’s been…so much so that we nearly forgot!!

When we started this journey, we had a vision to create more than just a coffee lounge. We wanted to build a welcoming space where people could enjoy great coffee, nourishing food, meaningful conversations and feel part of a community.

There have been early mornings, long days, challenges, lessons and plenty of hard work along the way, but every smile, every returning customer and every word of encouragement has made it all worthwhile.

To everyone who has walked through our doors, recommended us to a friend, attended a yoga class, enjoyed an açai bowl or simply stopped by for a coffee… thank you. Your support means more than you’ll ever know, and you’ve helped make Hygieia & Co what it is today.

As a little thank you from us, every coffee purchased before 11:00am tomorrow will receive a FREE brownie on us (while stocks last).

Here’s to the next chapter, continuing to grow our little community, and many more coffees shared together.

Weekend plans? We’ve got breakfast (or lunch) covered.

✨Don’t forget that we are open this Sunday as a one off from 9am until 12 noon.

A little weekend update! ☀️

Our coffee lounge will be closing early at 2:00pm this Saturday 18th July 2026 as we have a private event taking place.

But don’t worry… we’re making up for it! 🤍

As a one-off, we’ll be OPEN this Sunday from 9:00am – 12:00pm for your weekend coffee, brunch and açai fix.

PS- how beautiful is our Glow Goddess Açai Bowl -packed with our signature açai and topped with fresh banana, strawberries, blueberries and coconut flakes. The perfect way to start your Sunday!

Whether you’re joining us for a specialty coffee, a healthy brunch or one of our delicious açai bowls, we’d love to see you this weekend.

I realised I’ve never properly introduced myself… so hi! I’m Danielle, the owner and director of Hygieia & Co.

Before opening the lounge, I spent 23 years working in family law, most recently in a senior role for a national corporate law firm. It was a demanding career that gave me the privilege of helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives, but I eventually realised there was very little work-life balance.
Alongside my full-time career, I started a catering and baking business in 2020. I then discovered açai bowls and began doing pop-ups at local gyms. What started as a passion project soon grew into something much bigger.

Fast forward to today, and here we are with Hygieia & Co – our coffee and health lounge – alongside Hygieia The Cove, our fitness studio located within the courtyard. Creating a space where people can move their bodies, nourish themselves and connect with others has always been the dream.

I’m married to my Phil, who you’ll often spot helping out on Saturdays, and we have two amazing daughters aged 23 (yes, really! 😂) and 13.

When I’m not at the lounge, you’ll usually find me walking our cocker spaniel, Honey, in the gym or spending time with my loved ones.

Whilst I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, I certainly haven’t done it alone. We have an amazing team who work incredibly hard every single day, and I’m so grateful. They’re a huge part of what makes Hygieia & Co such a welcoming place.

Finally, thank you to every one of you who has supported us. Whether you’ve joined us for coffee, enjoyed an açai bowl, attended a class at The Cove or simply shared one of our posts, you’ve helped turn a dream into reality.

At Hygieia & Co, we’re more than just a coffee lounge.

We’re a modern space built around exceptional speciality coffee, wholesome food and genuine community with a yoga studio thrown in there too for good measure! Every customer who walks through our doors deserves a warm welcome, an unforgettable experience and a team that truly cares.

We’re looking for two new team members to join our growing family.

Role 1 – Front of House & general support (16+)
Saturday 8:30am-2pm

Role 2 – Barista / Front of House/ 18+

Weds- Friday 7.30am-3pm
Saturday 8:30am-3.30pm

We’re looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay calm under pressure, use their initiative and genuinely enjoy looking after people. We want team members who notice the little things, take pride in their work and are willing to go the extra mile.

Experience is welcomed, but attitude is everything. If you’re passionate, reliable, hardworking and able to work pressure, we’d love to hear from you. If you have hospitality experience even better!

Just a little reminder that we will stop serving our specials menu today at 12 noon as the back kitchen becomes too hot. However, as we are a Coffee, açai and Matcha lounge you’ll always still be able to get your favourites. Think cool coffees, fresh açai bowls and tasty matchas 😍
