Ted was our oldest regular customer. We celebrated his birthday with him every year, including his 100th. He will be missed by us all. Rest in Peace, Ted 💔

Sad news. It’s the end of an era.

World War Two veteran Ted Rutland has passed away at his Mansfield home.

He had always been available to talk about his time during the war, and his life after returning home.

He was such a lovely gentleman.

Rest in peace Ted, thank you for your service and thank you for being such a gentleman.

Ted is pictured at his home when he spoke to Mansfield News about Normandy and D-Day anniversaries.
