PLEASE READ if you’re planning a trip to Manningtree over the next two weeks.
There are road ahead closed signs up as far back as the railway station and the Mistley towers, possibly further.
The only part of the road that’s closed for repairs is the corner next to the crown.
You can still drive all the way through and turn left at South Street where we are positioned, continue onto Quay St (where the beach is) which will take you onto the walls.
Please don’t be put off by the signs. All businesses are open as usual.
