The CROWN INN Northenden

23/09/2026

WOW! 😳

I popped into the Crown today for a little peek… and I have to say, I was gobsmacked! 😂

Everything has been ripped out! 😱

At the moment, it looks less like a pub refurbishment and more like someone has gone in there with a serious grudge! 🤣

It’s very much demolition first, pretty later at the moment… but I’m assured there is a plan! 🤞😂

I’ll try and pop in every couple of days to see how things are progressing and keep you all updated.

It’s certainly going to be interesting watching the Crown transform! 👑🍻

Watch this space… 👀

🍺 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT — THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS! 😭

As you will probably be aware by now, we are closing the pub this weekend for a big and exciting refurbishment. 🎉🔨

Unfortunately, this has left me facing a truly awful situation…

I HAVE TO SELL THE DRINK CHEAP! 😭😭😭

Yes, in a desperate attempt to empty the cellar and bar before the builders arrive, I’m being forced to drastically reduce the prices.

🍺 B**R

Carling — £2.00 a pint
Stella — £2.50 a pint
Boddingtons — £2.00 a pint
ALL craft beers — £2.00 a pint

❌ Madri — GONE!
❌ Guinness — GONE!

🥃 SPIRITS

ALL spirits — £1.50 a measure! 😱

🍷 W**E

ALL bottled wines — £10.00 a bottle! 🍷

And don't forget, it's KARAOKE TONIGHT — FRIDAY! 🎤🎶

So you've got even more reason to come along, sing your heart out and help me get over the enormous shock of having to sell all this stuff so cheaply. 😂

Starting TODAY and continuing until it runs out.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: We will be closing Sunday — OR EARLIER if you lot manage to drink the place dry! 😂

So this could quite literally be your last chance to empty my cellar and save me from having to look at all this cheap booze.

Come and do your bit. I’m counting on you. 🍻😭😂

See you at the bar! 🎤🍺

Please come along and support our local church, they do a great deal for our community and they need a little help to raise funds for the Bell Tower.

Hello pop pickers. This Tuesday sees the return of semi vinyls to the crown. I'll be setting up the stereo for 7.30pm. So bring along some records and we'll give them a spin over the course of the evening.
