The Dressing Room Café & Bar in Chorlton, Manchester is the café and arts space at The Edge, and also a dedicated catering and restaurant training facility for adults with learning disabilities. Trainees have the opportunity to learn skills which can be applied in a real working environment and also transferred and applied to other areas of life. Every brew, lunch, or piece of cake you order goes

towards our work with adults with learning disabilities. A space to relax with a cappuccino while you wait for a class, grab a pre-theatre meal, or simply relax with a piece of cake while enjoying the surroundings, we hope that The Dressing Room Café is an inspiring and tranquil haven.

The Edge Manchester and The Dressing Room Café & Bar will be closed for summer from Friday 18th August at 5 pm and will re-open Monday 4th September at 9 am!

In response to the crisis in the hospitality industry, The Edge are setting up a new programme for trainee chefs, led by our wonderful executive chef Tracey Coles.

Please bear with us while the kitchen takes a necessary sabbatical during the month of September to prepare for this.

We will still be open for delicious cakes, coffees and alcoholic beverages (including some yummy new cocktails!) and the kitchen will reopen with an exciting new lunch menu from October and a brand new training programme

Please rest assured that our award winning training with learning disabled adults will continue throughout this period and beyond.

Hi Everybody!! Just to let you know that tomorrow, Wednesday the 13th July, our kitchen will close at 2pm for essential works. The café will still be open for tea, coffee and cakes.
