We are always impressed by the incredible ways our supporters fundraise and DANESTOCK at the Dane Bank Pub in Manchester was one of the best we’ve seen.

Landlord James Lester said “We are absolutely flabbergasted to tell you that we raised £6,500 during the event itself, plus a further £776 through the online QR code, giving a total of £7,276.”

James and his wife, Carly explained why they decided to run this event and said “Although this fundraiser was born from an incredibly sad reason, in memory of Rachel and Steve’s Son, Jude, we are comforted knowing something so positive has come from something so heartbreaking. We hope these funds will help Abigail’s Footsteps continue supporting other families when they need it most.”

The family would like to use the funds raised to donate 2 Abi Cooling Cots to hospitals/funeral homes/hospices in need.

James finished by saying “It was an amazing community event. Thank you for everything you do and did do, for our friends. We feel incredibly proud to have been able to support Abigail’s Footsteps."

Hey everyone we're out and about again next weekend playing live at The Dane Bank in Denton. We've been looking forward to returning again and have some great news tunes to play for you guys. Should be a great gig, hope to see you all there 🤘😎👍🎵🎸🎹🎶
