I turned up a little earlier than our barista this morning so thought I'd try a different gaff. Nice machinery, same as ours actually. A space that was empty for years that has created much needed hospitality jobs in a time when there's never been more of a need. Good baristas, good vibe, good culture. For those that enjoy chain coffee in Didsbury your morning has just got a whole lot better.

We always talk about progress at SMOAK but we’re going back with this special. Say hello to the aubergine and harissa bagel back for one month only!

Our original harissa and aubergine purée recipes served with grilled spiced aubergine, red onion, baby spinach and crispy onions. This was one of our original items on the menu back in 2022.

And if you pop into our Chorlton store for it tomorrow you’ll be served by Justine who’s also back and opened SMOAK with me in 2022, I might even be able to do a post about that one day but I’d have to get her permission for pics first!

We're looking for a full-time barista and/or kitchen team member to join our ranks. 1 x full-time position going which may be split into 2 x part-time positions.

Barista experience is essential if you're applying for the bar. Kitchen experience is preferable but we can train you up if you've got the right attitude.
