Tuesday 25th, we’re firing the ovens back up and getting back to what we do best.

✨Golden arancini, proper saucy pizza, that same handmade comfort you’ve been missing.

Running reduced hours for the week, 5pm til 9pm, but we’re back and ready for you.

Cannoli didn’t start out as a treat for every day. They were made for celebrations, feast days, special occasions worth showing off for. 🎊

A crisp fried shell filled fresh with a smooth sweet ricotta cream, always finished just before serving so the shell stays properly crunchy. Simple in theory, but getting that contrast right takes care. ✨

It’s a small dessert that’s been part of Sicilian celebrations for generations, and it’s stuck around because it just works.

Ours are filled fresh, never sat around going soft 🧡

Before pizza looked the way you know it, Sicily already had its own version. Sfincione. 🍕

Thick and spongy instead of thin and crisp, more like a soft focaccia base, topped with a rich tomato sauce and finished simply. No thin crust, just a proper doughy bite that soaks up all that flavour.

It was street food long before anything else. Simple, honest, straight from the tray.

Ours is made the same way, slow proved, sauce cooked down properly, finished with care 🧡

Arancini didn’t start as a snack. They started as a way to make Sunday’s ragù stretch into Monday’s lunch. 🧡

Sicilian mammas and street vendors turned leftover rice and sauce into something golden and portable, food you could eat standing up, walking to work, or grabbing between errands. That’s the whole point of arancini. Proper, hearty food made to travel.

It’s a small thing with a lot of history packed in 🇮🇹

Last week at Big Hands before we take our summer break. Last day Saturday.🧡

Family runs this place, and every summer we head back to Sicily to see family, eat properly, and remember why we do all this. It’s where the recipes come from, and it’s where we go to fill back up.🏡

We love cannoli so much we could make them blindfolded. 🤌🤣

Shell crisps up just right, ricotta goes in fresh, no measuring, no guessing. Just years of doing it the proper way., always filled at the moment 🇮🇹🧡

Last day at the trailer is Sunday 19th. Then you’ll find us at Big Hands right up until the 25th, our last day before summer break. 📅

The sun’s out, the square’s buzzing, and the gelato’s not staying solid for long. 🤤🍦

Less than two weeks left of us at Sadler’s Yard 🧡

We’ve loved every minute of it here. The arancini, the terrace, the England games on the big screen, all of it. The trailer won’t be there forever, so if you haven’t made it down yet, now’s the time.

Wednesday to Friday, 4pm till late
Saturday and Sunday, 1pm till late

And this Saturday, we’re doing the pregame at Sadler’s Yard before England kick off. Get down early, get stuck into some arancini, get involved before the match. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️
