How amazing is this! ❤️🍦

Young Jaxon has made this fantastic little model of me, complete with an ice cream cone in hand! What a brilliant surprise.

A huge thank you to Jaxon for putting so much time, effort and talent into creating it, and to little Priya for personally dropping it off today. It really made my day.

It's incredible to see such thoughtfulness and creativity from such young people. This will definitely have pride of place and be treasured for years to come.

🎨🍦 LITTLE ICE CREAM ART COMPETITION 🍦🎨

Calling all little artists and creative toddlers! 😊

We’re running a fun little competition for children to draw or paint a picture of anything ice cream related 🍦🎨

It could be:
🍦 An ice cream cone
🚐 An ice cream van
🌈 Their favourite lolly
🍨 A giant sundae
…anything ice cream themed!

Please add your child’s:
⭐ Name
⭐ Age

to the front or back of the picture.

All artwork will be proudly displayed on our window for a day for everybody to see 😊

And every child who takes part will receive a little book 📚

We can’t wait to see all the colourful creations 🍦❤️

A nice brew before we start getting ready for a busy day — and probably a busy week too if the weather forecasters have got it right ☀️🍦
We’ve been busy delivering ice creams and smiles to all the Year 6 pupils after their SATs exams. And for those who’ve experienced power cuts over the past couple of days, I hope we’ve helped keep you fed with our delicious hot dogs 🌭
Here’s to sunshine, happy faces, and another busy week ahead for Austin’s Ices 🚐

Following on from yesterday’s post about a little customer crying because she would only accept her ice cream from me… today we had little Myla, one of our regular cute little customers, crying for a completely different reason 😢🍦😂

Apparently, she went to our regular spot looking for Austin’s Ices… only to find we weren’t there because I’d actually dared to have a day off! 🙈

Safe to say I’ve learned my lesson now… no more days off allowed 😂

On a serious note, it really does mean the world to us that children get so excited to see the van pull up. It’s lovely knowing Austin’s Ices has become part of so many little routines and happy memories over the years ❤️

Sorry Myla… Austin will try not to let you down again 😅🍦

A dad has just bought an ice cream from Austin’s Ices and gone to give it to his little daughter… but she wouldn’t accept it from him and started crying 🥺🍦

After realising what was wrong, Dad came back to me laughing and said, “She will only accept it from you!” ❤️

That’s definitely a first for me 😂

It just shows it’s not always only about buying an ice cream… it’s also about the experience of personally going to the ice cream van too. The excitement, the smiles, the little memories made along the way — that’s what it’s all about. 🍦😊

Moments like this are priceless. Thank you to everyone who continues to support Austin’s Ices and lets us be part of these special memories ❤️🙏

One of my little customers made me this painting last night and even brought it into school today just to give it me at home time 🥹

Moments like this mean more than anything. It’s not just about ice creams… it’s about the smiles, the memories, and being part of the community ❤️

Guess I must be doing something right! This is exactly why I love what I do 🍦

Just a little note to all our lovely customers ❤️

From time to time we serve families with children who have additional needs (SEN), and queuing can sometimes be really overwhelming for them. You might notice a child getting upset or struggling while waiting for their turn.

If that ever happens, we’d really appreciate your understanding and kindness in letting them go ahead in the queue. It can make a huge difference in reducing stress for both the child and their parent.

We’re all about creating a friendly, inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy their ice cream 🍦
