The wait is finally over...

**Eastern Pearl reopens TODAY (Thursday 2nd July) from 4:30pm!** 🍜🥢

Our chefs have enjoyed a well-earned break, the woks are fired up once again, and we're ready to welcome you back with all your favourites!

🌤️ The good news doesn't stop there...
The heatwave has finally packed its bags, so you can enjoy your favourite Chinese takeaway without needing a fan in one hand and chopsticks in the other! 😅

⚽ And what a match last night! England certainly kept us all on the edge of our seats against DR Congo. It had more twists than our crispy shredded chilli beef! Congratulations to the Three Lions on reaching the next round! 🦁👏

Now there's just one important decision left...

🥡 A Quick Reminder from Eastern Pearl 🥡

Just a gentle heads-up that we’re now officially on our short break.

Eastern Pearl is CLOSED from tomorrow (Thursday 25th June) and we’ll be back serving your favourites from Thursday 2nd July at 4:30pm.

While we’re off the pitch resting our chefs (and letting the woks cool down!), the UK seems to have turned up the heatwave dial to “extra spicy” 🌡️🔥

So please do take care over the next few days:
💧 Stay hydrated
🌬️ Keep cool where you can
🍦 And maybe swap the hot kitchen for something chilled and easy

We’ll be recharging properly so we can come back for the second half of the year refreshed, ready, and fully fired up (just not literally).

🥡⚽ A Quick Fixture Update from Eastern Pearl! ⚽🥡

Just like a football team, even our chefs occasionally need to come off the pitch for a well-earned rest! 😅

So, please note that Eastern Pearl will be CLOSED for one week from Thursday 25th June until Wednesday 1st July, and we will be reopening as usual on Thursday 2nd July at 4:30pm.

Before then, we'd love to see you this weekend for one last takeaway fix before our short break. 🍜🥢

👨‍👧‍👦 And don't forget — Father's Day is on Sunday 21st June!

Why not treat Dad to his favourite Chinese takeaway? After all, socks are forgotten, ties are misplaced, but a good Salt & Pepper Chicken is remembered forever! 😉

Just a little heads-up, lovely customers — we’ll be taking a short break for a double celebration! 🥂
Eastern Pearl will be closed for one week from Thursday 26th March as we celebrate Chef’s wedding anniversary (yes, he remembered this year! 😅) and the shop’s 26th anniversary — not bad for a place that still makes a mean chow mein!
✨ Don't worry, it's only a short pause - we will be reopening on Thursday 2nd April 2026, just in time for Easter, so you won’t have to go too long without your favourites.

🥡✨ Back to Normal… For Now! ✨🥡

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you’ve all survived the festive season with full bellies and minimal leftovers 😅

After a snowy night, we hope you’re all staying warm and cozy ❄️☕

Just a quick update to let you know that Eastern Pearl is now back to our normal opening hours — so it’s business as usual for all your favourite dishes!

⏰ We’ll be running as normal until Thursday 22nd January, after which we’ll be taking a well-earned restful break to recharge our batteries (and give the woks a little nap too 💤). Don’t worry, we’ll be back Thursday 12th February, just in time to celebrate Valentine’s and Chinese New Year (17th Feb) with all your favourite dishes. ❤️🐉

There’s still plenty of time to get your Eastern Pearl fix before then, so make the most of it!
