This story didn't start in Didsbury.

It started at Moti Mahal in New Delhi, with Chef Saudagar Mal — a master of North Indian cooking in the years after 1947, when the kitchen that gave the world butter chicken was finding its feet.
The recipes came to Manchester. The philosophy came with them. Today Chef Arun Kumar carries the same story forward at 661 Wilmslow Road, and it winning Best of Manchester & England Curry Awards.
Same roots. New chapter. Twenty-six years in the heart of Didsbury and the recipe still hasn't changed.
