Hello everyone,
I just want to mention something that happened recently. A lady had an incident where she parked her car outside the takeaway and later found she had a flat tyre with two screws in it. This happened in the afternoon, and she believed someone may have done it on purpose. When my takeaway opened in the evening, she came to me asking to check the CCTV.
Unfortunately, my outside cameras were damaged due to water getting inside them, but I still went out of my way to try and sort it out for her even though it didn’t work in the end. This incident was last week, and I honestly didn’t expect that helping someone would turn into something negative. I felt like I was being accused of something I didn’t do, especially since my business doesn’t even open until 5 pm.
I’ve always tried to be respectful and kind to everyone around here, but today I realised sometimes being nice gets thrown back in your face. I only came by today to drop my staff off as it’s my daughter’s birthday party, but the whole situation put me in such a bad mood that I didn’t even go.
So please, if you park outside the takeaway and something happens to your car, kindly don’t come to me about it. I don’t mean that in a rude way I just don’t want to be blamed for things outside of my control.
At the end of the day, I’m a businessman, but I’m a father first, but I felt like I failed due to me not attending her special day due to this whole incident so thank you to that person
