Although the large majority of our customers are courteous and lovely to serve, it is regretful to say that once in a while some unreasonable and shameless people come along.

Unfortunately, this evening a horrid and remarkablely rude lady has graced our takeaway. Not only was she rude to my mum who doesnt speak English well, but she proceeded to argue claiming to have paid with a £20, when in reality it was £10. If we have made a mistake, we will not hesitate and apologise and make it right. But the fact we didn't have £20 in the till as we just opened goes to show this lady was just out to get make some money.

There is a struggle to decide whether I should post her picture and camera footage publicly, but to not further escalate the situation I will refrain from doing so at this moment in time.

On that lovely note, all the staff at Frydays would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone,

It is saddening that I need to make this post.

An extremely rude lady came into our shop on Tuesday night, who then wrote a dishonest review on Google. We have replied to this, exposing her as we had security footage of the incident. Which resulted in her removing the review. Since then they have pranked called our shop with a withheld number daily and have written fake reviews from 3 other accounts, presumably their friends/family. These have been reported.

If a customer has a genuine issue we will address it as we always have done. We pride ourselves on the treatment of our customers as the majority of them are also our neighbours in the local area.

We are a small family business in these already tough times. The last thing we need is for fake reviews to circulate and affect our trade even further. If any of our customers could spare a moment, please give us a quick review on Google. They mean a lot to small businesses such as ourselves.

On that note, we wish everyone a safe and wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!
