A little more love for an old Manchester favourite. 💚

Mr Thomas’s Chop House has been lovingly restored, with careful attention to the details that make this place what it is.

Our aim was never to take away from the history, but to give a little love to the areas that needed it - restoring, refreshing and preserving the character that has made the Chop House part of Manchester since 1867.

From our floors, walls and woodwork to new furniture and, of course, chairs fit for a king 👑- every detail has been considered with the history of Tom’s in mind.

The doors are open, the tables are set, and there’s a new chapter waiting to be written.

Come in, settle in, and make yourself at home. We’ll save you a seat. 🍽️

Some stories are worth putting on the walls. 💚

As part of our recent refresh, we welcomed Gregg to the Chop House to bring a little more of our history to life.

From our interior to the outside of the building, Gregg has been hand-painting new signage that tells the story of Tom’s - its people, its history and its place in Manchester.

It’s a little reminder that while the Chop House may have had a refresh, the story behind it remains very much the same.

A big thank you to Gregg for bringing our history to life, one brushstroke at a time.

Something new is cooking at Tom’s. 🍴

Chef Lucas has been putting his stamp on our menu, bringing a few new dishes to the table alongside the Tom’s favourites you already know.

Two of the new additions…

Sea Bass - Braised fennel, white w**e & Lisham’s Chorizo sauce, served with fondant potatoes (gluten-free).

Red Wine-Braised Short Rib of Beef - Pomme purée, cavolo nero, pearl onions, chestnut mushrooms & red w**e jus (gluten-free).
