WOW WOW WOW!!

We’ve just had the most SPECIAL delivery from our friend, and expert LEGO builder Jon Funnell 😍

We’re absolutely over the moon with this model of our historic home 🥹 Jon has captured every little detail, right down to our secret message on the roof 🧱

We will temporarily be putting it intro safe storage whilst we work on a display solution, but watch this space for an official ribbon cutting ceremony 🫶

Thank you so much Jon, you LEGO wizard!

🗓️ WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK

THURSDAY 🍕 OPEN HOUSE
We have a break from events this week. Stop by for a pizza, pint, game of table tennis etc etc. Bring your pals, and even bring a board game if you fancy!

FRIDAY + SATURDAY 🎈 CLOSED TO PUBLIC
On both evenings we have private events taking over the whole venue, meaning (sadly) we’re not open to usual pub goers. We’ll be back as usual next week - check out our upcoming events in the meantime!

A free night of live music, art workshops and DJs — folk, post-punk, psych, bassline, hypnotherapy-inspired sound and hardcore, all under one roof. Limited free tickets. 🌀

Please note the pizza kitchen is closed Friday and Saturday this week.

SATURDAY 🍺 JUST THE PUB
No events, no kitchen. Just a good bar. Come in. 🙂

🎉 I’m delighted to announce another Manchester Scene Stories Live event!

On Friday 11th September, I’ll be joined by Suddi Raval for an evening celebrating Manchester’s legendary dance music scene at Withington Public Hall Institute - WPHI

Suddi has been at the heart of club culture for decades, and we’ll be talking about his experiences, the rise of Acid House, the clubs, the DJs and the stories behind one of the most exciting periods in Manchester’s musical history.

After the interview, Suddi will be take to the decks for a special Acid House DJ set, bringing the sounds of that era to life.

This is the first Manchester Scene Stories event to combine a live interview with a DJ set, and I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you.
