🌿🌻Tickets for our seasonal supper club are out now! 🌿🌻

Last year, I was lucky enough to get my hands on an allotment spot 10 minutes from me. With this space, I set myself a goal: to grow some veggies for an all plant-based supper club, highlighting just how amazing local, organic produce can be. I also wanted to make it as accessible as possible, so people from all walks of life could dine together. We did it and we’re doing it again this year on a slightly bigger scale!

We’ll be plating up at on Thursday 16th July, from 6:30pm–9pm.

Tickets include food and a welcome drink. A bar will be available to purchase additional drinks on the night.

For this event, we’ll be collaborating with our talented friends , who’ll be bringing the vibes with a DJ set. I’ll definitely be moving my body at the pass throughout the night and I encourage you all to shake those hips too!

This is a supper club with purpose, to spread the joy of food and music. To also inspire and encourage others to grow their own veggies, no matter how small the space. Come, learn, and experience Cameroonian plant-based food done like nowhere else in Manchester. More info on our website, link in bio.

Over the last three years, I’ve been teaching myself how to grow and forage so I can have more control over what I eat, eat more organically, and reduce my food bill. With food prices continuing to rise, this is a valuable skill to learn.

As part of Gwafuvegan, I use some of the produce we grow and forage in our catering, as well as teaching people how to cook with it in cooking classes. These classes are adapted to whatever fruits and vegetables are currently in season.

These are skills that people are losing in our society, and I really want to help prevent that. In every aspect we do across the business we will always include seasonal local food where we can. Adapting my Cameroonian food heritage with local British produce.

We’re putting on a plant-based supper club this July, showcasing everything we’ve grown, foraged, and fermented throughout the season to inspire others to do the same. More info to come! Our website newsletter subscribers will get first access. We’ll also be offering low-income tickets to make it as accessible as possible.

Our website is the best place to stay up to date with what we’re doing, find free, fun recipes to try at home, and read blog posts to learn more about Cameroonian food, along with tips on how to sustain a plant-based diet and more. Link in bio.

It’s all coming together and my heart is so full! It’s been a huge passion of mine to run dinners like this, to make spaces accessible to everyone and ensure people from all backgrounds can sit together and enjoy a meal. I’m bringing my knowledge from to .mcr as well, particularly in tackling food waste and using locally grown produce.

I’ve been working alongside .cic for a few years now, and after getting to know Norton, we realised we share the same values, approach to life, and love of food (and mushrooms!). Nort had the idea for an inclusive dinner at the start of spring, and it honestly felt like fate brought us together, I was like, “1000% yes, let’s do it!” We started workshopping, and many meetings later, with help from our good friend Aga, our idea became reality! Throughout the night, everyone was full of smiles and so much joy; it was definitely a pinch-me moment that we pulled it off. 🙌🏿

Everything was plant-based at our sold-out supper club. We prevented waste from going to landfill by working with , and showcased incredible produce from other community-interest organisations like .co.uk and .cic, as well as HQ allotment. All remaining food was boxed up and donated to a local food bank. Thank you to the whole team, guests that came along and for letting us use the space.

We’re not stopping here, this pilot is now evolving into future community dinners and accessible skill-sharing projects. Exciting times ahead in 2026! Follow .mcr to stay up to date with our next dinner, planning is already underway!

✨ Be Inclusive Hospitality Awards 2025 ✨

On 13th October, I had an absolute blast at the Be Inclusive Hospitality Awards in London! I was so proud to be nominated as a finalist for the African Food Award, representing the North and the plant-based community 🎉

Although I didn’t take the award home, was over the moon just to be acknowledged for all the hard work the whole team and I put into gwafuvegan over the past five years 🙌🏿

Thank you  for being so hospitable and putting on such a spectacular night. It was incredible to be in a room full of amazing people doing great things and truly striving to make the hospitality industry as inclusive as possible.

Awards or not, I’ll always continue to do my best to offer great hospitality 4ALL. putting tasty plant-based food at the forefront of everything we do… and doing it in styyyyleee!

What an absolute joy it was to host a Cameroonian supper club in collaboration with

On Thursday 14th August, we put on a plant-based feast for everyone who attended. Northern Roots kindly invited me to use their wonderful space and the beautiful produce grown on their farm to create a special dinner. My dreams are quite literally coming true, and I’m so grateful to everyone who booked for the evening.

It got my creative juices flowing as I brought together dishes inspired by the food I love to eat on trips back to Cameroon—combined with seasonal British produce, quite literally picked just meters away from our guests' tables.

Thank you for helping out and being top chef for the evening 👩🏼‍🍳

If you ever get the chance, do head over to They host loads of events for the community, and you can even buy some of their amazing produce at their regular produce sales.
