The sun is doing its best to shine, and we’re ready for the weekend 🌞

We’ve got live music across the next few days, delicious food coming out of the kitchen, drinks in the garden, and plenty going on for Father’s Day.

- Tonight from 9:30pm - Logan Butler
- Saturday from 9:30pm - Baz Walker
- Sunday from 2pm - Live music in the garden

And on Sunday, we’re looking forward to welcoming all the dads for Father’s Day. We’ll have our specials menu available, alongside our usual Sunday menu and roasts from midday.

We’re really sad to share this.

One of our lovely regulars, who will be very much missed by all of us at CnC 💛

The family are kindly asking for donations to Moya Cole Hospice, a cause very close to our hearts and our community.

If you’re able to donate, or simply share, it would mean a lot.

It is with great sadness that the family of David Murray announces his passing, on the 5th June 2026, at the age of 73.

David passed away peacefully at his home in Boothstown, surrounded by his family, and will be lovingly remembered by his family and many friends of the Boothstown community.

A Service in Celebration of David’s life will take place on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 at Peel Green Crematorium at 2:00pm.

Happy birthday, Anna 💛

Anna recently joined us for her £100 birthday meal on us, one of the little ways we like to say thank you to our team.

Because birthdays matter, and so do the people who make CnC what it is.

Our Father’s Day specials are ready 💛

Alongside our usual Sunday menu and roasts from midday, we’ll have specials available throughout the week too.

Think cider, smoked pancetta & leek mussels with warm sourdough, pork & fennel meatballs baked in tomato sauce with homemade pesto, whole baked sea bass with grilled Mediterranean veg and Jersey Royals, our famous Father’s Day Breakfast Bap and an 8oz wagyu beef burger with bourbon & bone marrow fried onions, honey mustard miso mayo and truffle parmesan fries.

The Steak Sharing Board will be available too, for anyone who wants to go all in.

And for dessert… a Yorkie Bar Sundae with salted caramel ice cream, Jack Daniel’s dark chocolate sauce, meringue, whipped cream, cola bottle sweets and a chocolate Yorkie bar.

A real Father’s Day spread. And don’t forget we have live music in the garden every Sunday from 2pm 🙌🏻

Celebrating one whole year of Dan 💛

From the minute Dan started, he has been the epitome of CnC and our values. For someone with so much talent, he is humble and respectful and an absolute pleasure to work with. He has gone above and beyond in many ways and we are very lucky to call him one of our own.

There’s a reason we call him the King of the Grill 👑🔥

Happy one year, Dan! Thank you for everything you bring to the team.

A few specials worth making plans for 💛

They’re not around for much longer, but they’ve been so popular we’ve got a feeling they’ll be making a return.

Stracciatella & Pesto Loaded Garlic Bread
finished with plenty of grated Grana Padano.

Piña Colada Prawns
panko king prawns with pineapple, chilli, mint & coconut salsa, toasted coconut flakes and burnt lime.

Pan-Fried Cajun Seabass
with roasted new potatoes, peppers, courgette and tomatoes, finished with fresh tomato & chilli sauce and pesto.

Verde Rigatoni
fresh spinach, basil & garlic sauce, torn stracciatella, dried chilli, lemon zest, EVO oil and fresh basil.

A very good run from the specials board.
