The Woodthorpe is situated on Bury Old Road Prestwich next to Heaton Park. It is a 19th century Victorian property formerly the family home of Sir Edward Holt, it was later converted to a pub/hotel in the 1950s. Unfortunately due to the heat the RSPCA have advised against the WOOFTS day that was scheduled for this Saturday 15th August, this will be re-arranged for another date when it’s cooler and more comfortable for all our beloved dogs. 🐕 🐾🐶

Sorry for any disappointment but as I am sure you will agree, the safety of the animals comes first.

This evening, the skies are putting on a show — a rare solar eclipse, the most significant seen in the UK since 1999! Is expected 🌞🌑

Here in Manchester, the eclipse reaches its maximum at around 7.10pm, so what better place to watch this incredible historic moment than our beer garden? 🍻🌳

The weather is looking pretty gorgeous too… so grab your friends, find a comfy spot, order a cold beer and watch the sky change above you! 🍺☀️
