Last night at around 8.45pm - four boys decided to slash our pergola sheeting, rip down our new fairy lights and trash the bin store.

These boys are around 13-15 years old so we won't be posting CCTV of them but their mindless violence has been reported to all the local schools and police.

This is the fourth incident in as many weeks, that we have reported.

Today, I (Nat) feel a bit like giving up - we work hard to provide something nice for the community and then to sit and watch our CcTV back is demoralising and draining.

We don't expect there to be zero issues, and life throws all sorts of curveballs, but mindless violence for zero reason is just really sad.

TONIGHT: 7pm (Thurs 24th).
An evening of brilliant storytelling, hosted by Roann Hassani McCloskey - joined by three guest storytellers and also an open mic spot for anyone who wants to share a story of their own. Still some tickets left.

We've also got Meg's home made pasties, cakes, bevs and love.

To the men who are spending every night under our pergola. You are trespassing, you are littering and you're now being reported to the police. We have all of your faces on CCTV.

You've moved all the tables, left ci******es and w**d ends everywhere, and our gorgeous pergola stinks of ci******es, because of you.

Who do you think clears it all up? We're a community cafe - we can't afford cleaners and we don't get any council support for keeping the area clean. We pay for our own waste disposal, and we don't need extra work.

If anyone has names of these people, please do let us know. Thanks.

To the people who had a giant party in Cringle Park, come and collect your (banned) plastic cups, your firework ends, your bbqs and your toilet rolls.

Every morning we have to litter pick around the cafe, but this morning was unprecedented.

Please for the sake of all of us, REMOVE YOUR RUBBISH.

إلى الأشخاص الذين أقاموا حفلاً ضخماً في "كرينغل بارك" (Cringle Park): تعالوا وخذوا معكم أكوابكم البلاستيكية (المحظورة)، وبقايا الألعاب النارية، ومعدات الشواء، ولفائف ورق المرحاض التي خلفتم وراءكم.

نحن نضطر لجمع القمامة حول المقهى كل صباح، لكن ما رأيناه هذا الصباح كان أمراً غير مسبوق.
